About CJC Electric

Chris Cucinelli, owner of CJC Electric, received his business degree from Boston College in 2000. After graduation, he took a summer job with a family friend, Anthony Mendillo, a local electrical contractor. Chris instantly loved the work and decided to go back to school to become an electrician. After completing his apprenticeship, Anthony tragically passed away after a battle with Cystic Fibrosis. In 2005, Chris opened CJC Electric, taking with him the knowledge that he learned from his former colleague.

Chris started CJC Electric with the goal of ensuring customers receive the electrical services they deserve while consistently exceeding expectations.

After the economic downturn in 2008, Chris used the slowdown as an opportunity to go back to school to gain more insight into the construction industry. For three years, Chris traveled to New York City three times a week after work in order to attend graduate school.

He received his Masters Degree in Construction Administration from Columbia University in 2012. Chris then hired a longtime friend and mentor, Jack Pohlman, whose 40 years of industry experience helped CJC Electric take on larger and more complex projects.

Chris is a Connecticut native who has now been working in the electrical field for over 20 years. Throughout the years, Chris has worked alongside many contractors and his goal is to make sure every customer is satisfied at the completion of every project.

WHY CHOOSE CJC ELECTRIC?

STRONG RELATIONSHIPS

Our customers and employees are why we are in business. Construction can be difficult, and we believe in being honest and open throughout the entire process. We believe that this is what strengthens relationships, drives progress, and promotes success for everyone involved in a project.

CONSTANT COMMUNICATION

Our company’s focus is to do things right the first time.  There is nothing more frustrating than an error that causes work to have to be redone which results in schedule delays.  Communication is key and we do everything we can to prevent mistakes by having constant communication between our field personnel and project managers but let’s face it, mistakes happen.  If there is a job site challenge, we own it, correct it, and move on as quickly as possible – even if it affects our bottom line.  The customer’s schedule is our priority.

DEPENDABLE

Dependability is critical to your success.  We pride ourselves on being at the job site when you need us.  We are here to answer the phone when it rings and reply to your emails as quickly as we can.   No matter the situation, good or bad, we are available to serve your needs and solve your problems.  You can always count on us for your project needs.

SAFETY

A culture of safety is key to our success and your project.  Our company’s greatest asset is our employees and because of this safety is our number one priority.  Everyone who goes to work each day deserves to work in a safe environment.  We recognize that training is of utmost importance and our employees are required to have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certifications and our staff attends regular training sessions which focus on preventing recognizable hazards, including unsafe acts and unsafe job site conditions which are the primary causes of accidents.
